Week 5 run 3 tomorrow ....
20 minutes non stop running ...
Try not to think too hard about it. Trust the programme - you have come this far so you are ready for the 20 minute run.
I never thought I would be able to do it (the same as many on this forum) but by following C25K it is just the next step on this running adventure and another step nearer graduating.
It is an amazing feeling when you finish this run - it was straight after this one that I knew I was addicted to running.
Go for it - YOU CAN DO IT 😊
Let us know how you get on
Yep! Don't worry about it, you'll be fine, you've built up gradually to be able to do it, if you do start feeling fatigued, what do you do? Slow it down more and push on through, slow n steady, we say it enough on here or oldfloss does anyway, slow and steady!😁
Be positive about this run, you are ready...as Gadpode and Davelinks have said.
Slow and steady..Good luck😊x
Look forward to your I did it post..
Good luck it’s a great feeling when you do that first 20 minute run 👍
so on your last run you ran 8 mins, brisk walk 5mins and ran 8mins -- total 21 mins
so run 3 is totally in the bag, just remember slow and steady is the way to go
You learn something magical with this run. You learn that it is easier to keep going than it is to cool down and then warm up again. As has been said, you have already done the distance so if you can put that in the bank and trust in yourself you will be pleasantly surprised that it is easier than you thought it might be.
You will be fine- start very slow and relaxed- then keep slow and relaxed! This is less about your legs and more about convincing your brain that you can do it! 😀
You can do it! Just keep thinking about how pleased and accomplished you will feel when you’ve done it 😀
It sounds scary but you have been building to this run. Just take it slow and steady 🏃
This is the one most of us seem to worry about and then manage. Relax into it and think about the next step, not the end of the run. you can do it!
The programme works. Prepare to be very pleased with yourself.
We’ve all done the run and most felt the same as you’re feeling now.
Don’t look too much into to it, be positive, keep it slow and steady and you’ll get there.
Good luck 🏃🏃🏃
Slow and steady, one foot in front of the other...you are ready for this and.... you will do it
I was also... Take it steady, do not worry about the pace and then be prepared to be amazed!
Good luck
