Delusional!!!

I woke up very early this morning feeling a bit better so decided it would be a nice idea to get back to running by going for a gentle run.hahaha 🤣😂😁🤣😂😁...just took my daughter to school...well...the paths are absolutely DEADLY!!!even the grass i thought would be suitable for a little toddle about is frozen solid!!!so given myself a good talking to & decided that i will have to wait...😉

I was out spreading grit on the driveway last night and some nutter in full running gear came slipping down the road with the ice crunching underfoot. I just watched in disbelief and went indoors for a cuppa.

How many are there? I saw two!? The show stopper was a woman letting her dog pull her while she ran along my road. As in downhill road covered with ice patches.

I had to abort my run attempt as l skidded as soon as l walked out. No man, I've only got two knees!

Really annoying isnt it! I had to put salt down outside our front door, where the snow had begun to melt yesterday, dripped onto the oavement, then frozen last night. Take heart, it cant last forever x

I walked to work early this morning in my trainers and it was not conditions for running! I had enough grip for walking but in places it was just black ice. It's not my runday today and I am hoping for some warmer weather by Thursday! Well done for staying home. A fall could result in a spell on the ic, a place no one wants to be!

Minus 13 degrees C here last night....we made the national news. I could well have more time for running this Spring as I will have fewer plants to look after. Slow thaw forecast from tomorrow so it shouldn't be too long now before postmen, bin men and the School Run Grand Prix cars reappear.

But I will really miss this iced beauty and quietness...is it me?

We didn’t even get much snow down here but the paths were very slippery on the school run. Rain is on its way and I just saw on the news the temperature will be up to 8 degrees tomorrow! Glad you’re feeling better 😀

I ran in central London today in the Barbican, partially undercover and there were ice patches even there...., so better to be safe than slidy and sorry...

I'm making 'ice on ground' a reason to enjoy tea and toast days....

Its awful round here!!!i slipped over walking my dogs round the block at lunchtime...made my sore knee worse!!!😕if i cant walk on it i sure as hell cant run on it!!!

I went out for a reccy. I walked up the street to post some cards - wearing trail shoes - just in case 🙂. It was like a skating rink so no go
