Yes, and week 9 is 40 minutes...
It's all mind games. When folks post on the web-based version of this forum, they can add a 'Topic' about which the post refers. As you might expect, Week 1 ("I've started") and Week 9 ("I've graduated") have the most posts. However, week 3 has the least number of posts. That won't be a surprise to anyone.
Week 3 is a common week to give up... you have the initial enthusiasm from getting started, week 2 comes along and you tolerate it. But in week 3, maybe you're tired, or its raining... human nature to start to get a bit bored.
But then you find that week 3 is shorter than week 2 and week 4... OK, I can do that, it is only 23 minutes.. So that gets you through week 3 and now you've been doing an activity for 3 weeks and have a much higher chance of continuing.
Enjoy it. You have a lot of running to do in the forthcoming weeks.
Trust the program. C25K works.

Official NHS UK C25K timings (you app may be different):
docs.google.com/spreadsheet...
9 plus 16 isn't 23.. or am i missing something lol
My app says only a 3 minute cool down making 23 minutes.
I see. Best not to focus on the distances or times, just go out each time and do what the app tells you to otherwise when you get to the longer runs they will sound like a mountain, when often they are easier than the intervals.
