Slow and Steady

Today I finally managed to run a complete 5k distance without any walking. Made sure I heeded the slow and steady advice. Although slower than my last parkrun by about a minute and a half I ran the whole way which has been my aim. Can't wait to go out again on Thursday!

Well done you! 5k's a long way!

Slow and steady is definitely the way forward. Don't worry about speed that will come as your strength improves ... and, anyway, what's the hurry? It's just good to be out there.

Happy running!

Slow and steady is best honestly. None of us want to get hurt, so plugging away is just fine

Good luck

We like slow and steady
