Hello runners

I unexpectedly had a window of time today and got out for the penultimate run. The plan was to go out for a gentle 30mins and finish at my kids' school. It turned out to be my fastest run yet (I mean, relatively speaking). Pacing is something I'm going to have to work on if I want to ramp my distance up over the summer. Bit tired this evening.

It's not long ago that I thought the app was faulty while waiting to be told the three minutes was up (I've never known such a long three minutes before) and now I'm running for half an hour. I know everyone says the same thing, but it's amazing what your body can do in such a short space of time.

So graduation possibly Thursday, unless I go for a short one instead. Otherwise I shall go with a flourish at Parkrun on Saturday! Either way, I'm getting my badge by the end of the week. Thanks everyone xx

I posted pretty much your post about wk5r3! That first block is when it really comes together. You can do it! And then week 6 will really annoy you for making you walk again. I look forwards to hearing how you get on.

Yes, my parkruns have all been run very slowly at the back and I'm now on firstname terms with several tail runners! The atmosphere is always great though, and you come away with a massive sense of achievement!
