I wanted to share my slightly unusual experience. I usually struggle to complete the recommended sequence. I struggled with the first 8 minutes as usual but was able to complete. During the second 8 minutes, after 3-4 minutes, I got into some sort of rhythm and just kept running. I am not sure it's the best description but I was sort of observing myself run from a distance. I was listening to some fairly high tempo music so it could be because of that as well. I ran for 27 minutes, which is way longer than I have run in a single stretch, and probably could have continued for some more time. I am curious if anyone else had any similar experience. I am also keen to find out if this was a one-time thing or the next run is going to be a bit easier. Will share my experience as I go along. Thanks!

Ah ha! You got go-go-gadget legs! Usually they don't kick in so early!! Your goal is to try to find that happy place now in all your running, though I do encourage you to stick to the programme times as you build up muscle fitness etc.
My suspicion is that perhaps you are relatively fit to start and it was a matter of both training your movements and settling your breathing. Anyway -- it's a kind of magic state and we always hope for it to come. It gets easier with more experience. Also, the first 10 mins of any run are where you are not yet taking in quite enough oxygen so it is always tough. Perhaps with this first longer run you got past that toxic stage and into a well-oxygenated state.
