I just walked 800kms across Spain, but panic if anyone says run ... as I could achieve that I'm looking to change my mindset about this running park... as we are stronger and more capable than we think we are

Wow. 800kms. Which part of Spain?

Don't worry, you are in much better shape than loads of us. Most of us new converts to running here were old, fat, ex-smokers with exercise aversions :-) We now like exercise LOL! Running is (in my opinion) more intrinsically "fun" than walking, once you get past the exploding lung stage (which actually passes pretty quickly). If you want to try, you will not fail on this programme.

The Camino de Santiago Frances way across The North, I need something to aim towards as I'm intrinsically lazy 😊 just do mad things in occasion.

I'd be really happy to be able to run for 30mins as I've always told myself I cant - looking forward to using my new mindset to change that to can

So glad you posted. I'm planning to cycle the Camino in spring next year.

This c25k plan has changed my attitude towards running, and is well paced to build you up gradually

Buena carrera!

Buen Camino... you'll love it, just pace yourself and enjoy the countryside - even the Meseta has beauty

Absolutely! If you can walk you can run. The two compliment each other beautifully. I rate walking 💪👍🙂🏃‍♀️

C25k is a fab intro to running programme. It teaches you how to do it, and it’s free!

Run walk combo’s are great
