Week 3 run 2 easier than last wed

Much easier than last wed when I thought I was running with lead legs. But the change in temp is hard. No frost or cold winds and I am parched coming back.

Well done, have a bottle of water ready for when you finish

W3R2 for me last night. Must have been working hard, my knees are killing me today!! Got a bit further than Sunday and the second 3 minute run was a bit easier than before. I've worked out I'll be graduating on the 22nd December...... last day at work before Christmas break - that'll be a double celebration!!!

My bad knee gave more of a twinge last night, and the place where my spine curves at the base (to compensate for my weak leg) was a bit uncomfortable in bed last night. i guess we are running that bit longer and stretching and working body parts that haven't had to do as much for a while.

My legs are definitely continually mumbling at me. Yes I think they are just getting used to it and telling us off.

Keep going we can both do this.

I actually found it helpful - I was running Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the first two weeks but going alternate days from week 3 onwards will reduce my C25K runs by a week.

Well done you, and interesting: i found the first run of this week easier, but I ran a hillier route yesterday. I don't get thirsty at all and have to remind myself to drink when i get back. Actually the only time I've experienced real thirst was when breast feeding. I could down a jug of juice after a feed. Keep posting. We are at the same place so it's interesting to compare notes and encourage each other.

Hi fellow W3 Runners

Glad to hear R2 is easier. I have just done W3R1 and found the second 3mins hard. I don't have a gadget to take with me as iPod won't work so I accidentally did 3x3 mins - a whole 1.5 mins extra!

Yes, it is so mild today. I was boiling in my usual three layers. (Temperature control is tricky. Am saving up for proper kit.)

Yes it is tricky isn’t it. Esp as each day is currently so different.
