Well very blustery morning here in Wales so decided to do my run early before the rain sets in although 8.45 is late for me as l like to run @ 6am before work.
As usual l didnโt look at what W7R1 was going to hold but knew it would be a long one.
I had decided my route from home l do have a 5k circular from my door but was saving that as itโs mixed flat and level ground and know l need to have more experience before tackling this.
So off l set cool windy but dry. Warm up walk done and set off for my first 25 min run.
Lots of wild life on route many buzzards this morning swooping for prey or sitting in the trees on the look out for prey. Usual creeky 5 mins till everything falls into place had a micro fleece on this am as much colder but was soon around my waist ๐ Oldfloss in my ear slow and steady kept at a very steady pace. Was just going to run straight till the half time Bell then turn round and come back the same way but....... found myself making a left hand turn ๐ฑ๐ฑ and was now on the 5 k circular omg what had l done.
Well l was watched with great excitement by a herd of bulls as they donโt normally see or hear a mad singing women in the peace and quiet of the welsh hills ๐๐ but l provided them with great entertainment this morning.
Great pace and was really enjoying myself when MJ told me l only had 5 mins to go wow that went quick pushed myself for the final 5 and the final 60 secs. ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐
My 5 min cool down was about 12 mins to get me back to where l had started back at my gate.
Well l canโt tell you how chuffed l am at doing the circular spur of the moment but lm so proud of myself there are 2 ways of doing it one easy which l did this am with gentle inclines or the opposite way with a quite steep start which l will save for another day ๐๐.
2 more of these this week before W8.
Have a great day all of you and thanks for reading. Happy running ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
