I'm on W7 and trying to sharpen up my eating habits. To be honest I've deliberately not stepped on the weighing scales for the last two months as I don't want that to influence my running progress. I 'feel' better and my clothes hang better so good things are happening whatever may register on the scales. Maybe I'll leap on the scales in a couple of weeks just to see but when I was 3 stone lighter I wasn't able to run for 25 mins and I can now :D Good Luck raquelscatt. Keep it up!

Healthy eating should be your default setting. You can only lose weight on C25k if you watch what you eat. Running loses calories quite like nothing else but only if you are eating healthily while doing it. It makes sense doesn't it? We can get fit and lose weight at the same time. Win Win!

I was a lard ass with spare tyres on my spare tyres, and that was just my chin. Now my fat arse has disappeared, along with my chest sadly, but you can't win em all.

I have been a maintaining WW for 7 years next week. You have to stick to exercise and healthy eating for life. It's not just a quick fix. It's a way of life but it's not difficult. You can eat really well. I just don't eat junk and I ditched boozing but I don't miss either of those things

I've kept running since Graduating from Couch to 5k.

The programme is best done SLOWLY. Good news as it makes life easier. Those who go nice and steady will complete the programme injury free (hopefully)

So, take care, keep plugging away and eating healthily and we'll see a slimmer and healthier, fitter you on the Graduation podium

Come on here each run and let us know how you're doing!

Good luck!

Very well done on completing week 1!!! 😀👏👏👏👏 I found that week hardest as I was very unfit, but only a little overweight. I had done Weight Watchers for over a year to lose 3 1/2 stone, but struggled to maintain it because I hadn't been doing any exercise at all. It doesn't help that I'm a bit of a chocoholic either, but after my time at WW I know how to eat healthily and TRY to stick to treats in moderation. I've only lost a couple of pounds on C25k, but in honesty I know I don't deserve to and don't expect to, unless I curb my sweet tooth. I am just about within my BMI so I could do with just dropping a few pounds. I know how to do it, and as misswobble says, to lose weight it has to be a permanent change of lifestyle. I'm getting there...Slowly!

There are those on the forum who have really lost lots of weight. Have a read through some of the posts and I'm sure you'll be really inspired. I always am!

Keep running! You're headed in the right direction! 😀🏃
