Keeping track of my runs!

I’m currently using the Under Armour Map my Run on my IPhone, which shows distance, duration and pace but for some reason the calorie count always remains at zero? Is there a way to activate this or is there a better app I can use to keep track of my progress which includes a calorie count?

If you use My Fitness Pal (also by Under Armour) you can link it to that. You can enter your weight and height and other stats on My Fitness Pal and then the two apps will sync with one another and a calorie count/burn will be displayed. Hope that helps.

Hi not sure why that is happening! I use MapmyRun and the calorie count comes up on my phone. Maybe there is something on the App that needs to be activated? x

Hey Mazzy106 I use the MapMyRun app, you need to configure your 'personal details' in your profile ... essentially your Sex (even though it says Gender), your Height and your (sorry) Weight, it uses a combination of these parameters to estimate your calorie burn ....

Only you can see your details .... ;-)

As you lose weight, don't forget to update your MapMyRun profile, less weight burns less calories, but there is no point in kidding yourself that you burnt 1000 calories when it was only 560 ....

the calorie counters in these things are extremely blunt tools at the best of time tbh

If you work on the principle that your net calorie burn is 0.63 x bodyweight (in lbs) per mile, you will not be far wrong.

Not what you're looking for?
