So I’m overweight, hypermobile, asthmatic, 41 year old lazy bones, but just finished w2r1. Yes, I plan my route to avoid anyone who might know me and look like a sack of potatoes when I run/walk but I’m amazed I CAN run. Hurrah

Good for you!

Winning the battle in your mind to make the first step. You might want to be a little kinder to yourself though 😊, it’s not easy to get started with running. Go steady and celebrate each victory as you move forward.

It's a great feeling, isn't it? And hey, less of the lazybones! You cannot be that lazy if you are doing C25K! Keep up the good work and you will continue to amaze yourself...keep it slow and steady, and stretch well after, you will go far.

Well done on completing run 1 of week 2! Good stuff. 👏🏃‍♀️😀

Yeah I didn’t stretch after the first run and my hips killed the next day. It’s hard to stretch when your hypermobile but I kind of lie on the floor and let my hips open. With the curtains shut I must add 😂

Just take it gentle then (I am sure you know your limits!) x
