W8R2 was a wee toughie, about 14 minutes in I really felt like walking for a bit :(

However common sense, determination and sheer bloody-mindedness (it is a word) made me carry on to a new personal best distance of 4.6km....phew!

Not one of my better runs but it's done.....come on run 3, I'll be ready for you :)

Good work Feegle😊

Sounds like that toxic ten feeling...

When we start our runs our bodies need to take on extra oxygen to cope with the exertion. This takes about 8 to 10 minutes. Once the oxygen is fully round your blood stream it feels easier and breathing relaxes. So its better to start your run very slowly and relax into it.

There are articles that explain this, and I found once you know what to expect you know you can push through it and feel better.

Good luck with W8 R3 and a slow start😊x
