Four firsts tonight- ran in the dark, rain, on road & for 8 mins ( W5R2) - still loved it - not quite as much as my daylight muddy paths by fields, - but there is something about having those quiet wet streets to yourself!! Hello Winter running! 😀

Well done! You weren't alone. I was out there too. Getting drowned 😃

However my streets were awash with runners and half dressed folks going to the gym. It was warm though!

It is nice though when you have the streets to yourself. For me that's usually Pre dawn dog walks 😩

Running in winter is not that bad actually, well not if you're in the U.K. That is. We could do a lot worse 😃 Ice is the worst!

Hmmm yes, hadn't thought about ice - you can tell I'm new to this! I ended up running on the road ( no traffic) because the pavements were very slippery with wet leaves.
