New trainers sorted ✅, laces not too tight ✅ 28min run, well yes went on by an extra minute to clock up 4.5k.
With the feet sorted, the breathing sorted, pace sorted everything fell into place today and it all felt right. Pounding away wired for sound thought 5mins had passed when Jo tells me well done half way 14mins to go. I can't explain how good I feel at the moment but its better than when I first did the 20min run. Who, d a thought that only 8 weeks ago this fat bloke could run. 8 weeks later just over half a stone lost, trousers down two sizes, shirts hanging off me. I feel fantastic. Now busy eyeing up my local park run. Which I will do in the next few weeks. 😀😀🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️

It is incredible isn't it! Very well done and an impressive time too
Thank you for the inspiring post! Am a couple of runs behind you and loving it, although still at the point that when Laura tells me I've been going 5 minutes I think Oh no is that all?! It's great to read from those running ahead that it gets better and better!
Great seeing your progress and the weight loss too, you must be feeling so very proud and deservedly so...
Its so true. Slow buys time, saves energy but gets the job done with minimal fuss. Easier on every bit of our bodies too, which is the name of the game. 👍
