Knee pain

Hi all. I've been on here a few times. I'm a graduate who keeps slipping back to running and walking after injuries or when my asthmatic lungs play up. I've been building myself back up and re-ran week 5 ... 8 mins run etc last night and have such knee pain since that I'm hobbling today. I run on a treadmill so not so much strain. What should I do please? Thanks

First, don't run till it's better. Lots of different things can cause knee pain so if it keeps coming back you need to see a sport physio to find out why and how to stop it.

Have you had gait analysis and properly fitted shoes. They are a must. My knee pain was caused by tight muscles in my thighs pulling the knee out of alignment so for me it is stretches. You need to see someone to find out that sort of thing.
