Haven't posted before but have been immersed in all your messages since early Aug and have found them endlessly inspiring and encouraging - thank you! To my amazement finished w6r3 today - can't quite believe I'm in the final third of the programme. Haven't run since I was at school - something over 30yrs ago - and really struggled to get out the door for w1r1 - each run is still very tough but feel optimistic I'll plug (slowly) through them!

Welcome to the friendliest forum around!! You’re doing well, keep going, slower then slower. I graduated last week using the oldfloss method...she is a total legend!! Only 3 weeks to go keep plugging!! 👍🏻
Hello!! Welcome!! You're already a runner then
Thank you! It was your message last week about the different stages of the programme that persuaded me to post - am heading towards 50 and definitely want to be fitter and stronger for the years ahead!
Well that's nice to hear! Week 7 was tough for me. I wanted to bail before I failed so to speak - a kind of mini freak out about taking time just for me. Also the runs are more taxing in total. But now I can run 32 minutes (I'm kind of in week 10?) so your fitness does continue to build. Congrats on making it to "training wheels!"
Well done! You are a week ahead of me 👍🏃
Hello ✋️
You're doing brilliantly, I hope you enjoy week 7. I've just finished it and starting week 8 tomorrow, isn't it a great programme!
