On my second run of the 1st week. 2nd run felt a little easier, but finding it difficult to fit it around shifts.

Making time for exercise
Hi Dee I don't have to worry about shifts and have been racking my brain to recall which runners have to deal with them and have posted about it.
Whilst I can't recall their names (sorry) the ones I can remember, made a habit around their shift pattern. Some preferred to 'get ready' by running first, others preferred to 'decompress' after the shift.
Not sure which you prefer, it sure is a heck of a challenge in a busy life. I guess only you know when you feel able to do it...
the one thing I would say is that don't be pressurised by the 9 week calendar. It isn't necessarily 9 weeks calendar timing, plenty of us have taken longer to graduate.
Don't let that 9 weeks be a pressure on you , shifts are enough pressure already I imagine....
Whatever you choose to do, I wish you good luck and happy running.
I work 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts. Running on a shift day is impossible. I prefer to run early morning so I go out on my first and third day off. I know it means that there's a long gap but it works for me. You need to experiment with what is comfortable for you.
