This time last week I tried to do week 4 run 1. It killed me and I ended up walking most of the way - hey at least I didn't stop! Yesterday I completed run 2 no problem - and am now 1.1km off 5k in the 30 mins.
I'm panicking as week 5 seems to be a huge leap - any tips?

There seem to be two or three runs that do feel massive jumps. I found that if I didn't manage one I just repeat it and put it down as a practice run! It really does build up and you will do it.
You sound to have a really good pace so you could slow down a little bit? Just a thought.
Stop worrying about whether you are on track at this stage to complete 5k in 30mins. It is better to finish the programme short of distance than to not finish because you pushed yourself too far too soon.
At the moment it is all about building stamina in run/ walking and increasing your cardio fitness. The intervals are great for this, and the walk parts are just as important as the running. Build this and the speed will follow.
Also if you include the walks in with the run sections you will see the increments in Wk5 are not that much. They are building to the last run of Wk5 which you will realise is the turning point of the plan and within your capabilities. Be positive, slow down and enjoy the success of your runs...
