Strange feeling

Seeing runners running and getting jealous that I'm not running too..yep, that's a thing now. I'll be driving somewhere, see a jogger go past and feel a pang of envy and think 'I wish I was doing that'. This can happen multiple times a day. I think I may have a problem, I was never warned of this side effect!

I get pangs when I see my kit on the washing line.... doh.

The running bug has very deep hooky claws, once they are in they are in

It's true & its caught hold of me! Frustratingly I've been out of action since Saturday's park run with a sickness bug so don't think running will be wise for a couple of days 😢 I'll have to live vicariously through all of you in the meantime!

I know how you feel. I've been out of action since Friday with bad blisters on the soles of both feet. I saw some runners today and so wanted to say, "I can do that too", but I didn't.

I'm hoping I can go out tomorrow. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you, I hope you are able to get back out there tomorrow (and maybe run past that same group of runners!)

I know it's weird - I wish I could run every day. I find myself thinking about it all the time! And now I'm thinking of joining a gym. What is happening to me?!!

haha strange goings on Fishypieface ! We're moving house on Friday to a new area and rather than working out the sensible things like my route to work, etc, what do I do? Search for running clubs nearby!

Ha! At least you've got your priorities right! Good luck with the move/squeezing a run in.

I look at other runners when I'm in traffic and I analyse how their feet land, try and predict their pace and wonder why they don't have bright red beetroot heads and why they don't look like they are in distress. 😀

And wonder if I'll ever attain that level of fitness.

You & me both, it's becoming an odd little hobby of mine!

Me too...😄Also if someone is running towards us or from behind when we are out walking on a footpath I say ' runner coming, move aside'..and bustle my family in a straight line to let the runner through.. they all find this hilarious...don't they understand how hard that runner is working😆😉?
