So, today I did w6r1. That seemed more taxing than the 20min run on w5r3. Why? Maybe as it is - 2Β° out there this morning and the paths were very icy β so I was running π quite tentatively and the air was cold breathing it in. Can't wait for non frosty mornings.
Hmmm, strange : So, today I did w6r1. That... - Couch to 5K

Oh, the curse of Week 6! If you look at the posts for week 6 you will see that many of us stumbled a little here - I think it is actually the return to walk-run intervals after that 20 min run in week 5. I graduated over two years ago now and for some reason it is Week 6 that sticks in my mind as being the hardest! Never fear - it all starts to pull together soon and you will be back on continuous runs! Good luck with the rest of the programme - it's a life changer.πππ½ββοΈ
Week 6 π. Crikey πͺπ. Take it steady and youβll nail it. Mind you in this weather itβs hard to get going at all isnβt it. Slippery paths eek!
Spring is around the corner π
Well done.
You have just done the longest workout to date..............does that explain anything?
24 minutes is more time than 20 minutes. Correspondingly more taxing.
The runs follow on, and as long as you are slow and steady you should be fine...I have to say.. icy conditions for me,as with many of us are a definite no-no.. you did well
