Looking forward to it but a little nervous
Slow,,, steady and do that first run.... welcome to the start of something incredible
Good luck Richarda - you could have been writing about me 8 weeks ago. Now I can run for 28 minutes and graduation looms. The C25K programme is great and this forum is such a great source of support and encouragement. Go for it!
Go for it . I lost 1.5 stones in the 9 weeks without changing anything that I ate
Don't think of the end of the course just get through each week. I never thought I could do this, but I've made it to week 9. You CAN do this.
Congrats on joining the best running club in the world. Kicking the couch is one of the biggest steps you'll take. Take your time, be kind to yourself, don't be surprised if it's a little tougher than you imagined, but let us know how you get on. Need a cheer, we can do that, need techy running help, yup we got that here too. Need a hug - provided you're happy with a virtual one or two, then that's covered too.
Oh and the big one, no matter how small you feel the achievement, it is an achievement and we will always cheer you on towards your next one. Roll on Friday
Welcome to the club, there is a mass of advice here and everyone is so willing to help you through, good luck and enjoy 😀
Good for you Richarda1975! You will be absolutely fine. You gave taken the hardest step 😊
Hey that we me just one week ago. Trust me, you can do it. I'm pretty sure everyone else here is thinking that too! Remember there's a fantastic team of supporters cheering you on here.
I wish you all the best, and please do keep us updated. For one, hearing other people's news is not only encouraging, even if it's something you struggled with, and the other thing is that sharing on here kind-of makes you that tiny bit more accountable and less likely to quit I suspect. I never thought I'd make it to the end of run 1 myself...!
All the best!
Neil
