No. they are ruined for life. You will need replacement surgery before tackling Week 2

That will set me back a bit, in every way

Aching or pain? If the first then rest up and you'll be fine. If the second see a medic. But it's early in your new running life and I don't know how fit and bendy your joints are. Mine were in shock at this point in the plan. But mixing up terrain is a good way of body conditioning

But the route looks gorgeous, so that must be an encouragement! Hope your knees forgive you in time for next run out.

I'm wk 1 and tonight will be run 3

My knees ache but at this stage that's all

I'm doing this on grass but a friend said he was quicker on tarmac. I just feel it could at this stage do me damage.

Being new to this I'm sure I'll learn
