Just completed W3 and I loved it, I was so worried about it before hand but actually found it ok. I think running for slightly longer made the ordeal over quicker πŸ˜‚. (Yes ordeal, hate the running but love the feeling of achievement afterwards) On a rest day today but looking forward to tomorrow.

No need to ever worry about a run............it won't make it any different.

Stay positive and relish the challenge.

The worst possible outcome is that you have to repeat a run........but it will make you stronger, so why worry?

Ordeal or no ordeal, you did it and loved it. Does that make you a masochist runner? Well done you 1/3 of the way through and looking forward to hearing about your week 4

πŸ˜‚ I hope so, it's really weird because I look forward to going out running and I'm even itching to go out on my rest days but after a couple of minutes my head is saying what the bloody hell were you thinking !!! Then once I've finished I feel great again πŸ˜ƒ

I recognise all of that! This forum is great for getting a fix on non-run days.

The thing that really surprised me was once the longer runs start you get to a point (after the first 10 mins, which are never great) when you're sort of 'in the zone'. You're puffing away, but you realise you're not getting any more tired - you're in a sort of steady state of exertion that you can maintain. I've only had it a couple of times so far, but it feels really good.
