Wobbly Wednesday!

Well, this morning I had a little wobble and anxiety hit. OH has gone back to work so I was absent my emotional crutch and the routine that I had got into has now been altered, my legs felt tired and I hadn't even got dressed yet! Then Micheal Jackson's 'Man in Mirror' came on the radio and from one MJ inspiration to another, I hauled myself out of bed, wrestled into my sports bra (do they really have to be such an effort to get into?) and completed W3R2, all be it slow and steady! Roll on Friday for W3R3!

You'll be fine! You're a big girl now and allowed to play out on your own so get out there and have fun 😃

Slow is the way to go, and will deliver you safely to Graduation. NO need for speed🙂👍🏃‍♀️✔️

Everyone differs but from my limited experience in running with others, I've learned to prefer to run on my own. At this early stage (and I include myself in this statement) we are still finding our feet, we're unlikely to have settled into a regular pace and it's still bloody difficult to run! On your own you will find your own natural pace and, dare I say it, you may actually find it easier!!! For me, the perfect compromise is a parkrun. You have people all around you and you can feed off their energy and enthusiasm (for Parkrun is the most inclusive and supportive running movement EVER) but you can run at your own pace. When you're ready, I'd recommend Parkrun. You will never be last as there is a tail walker (I'm so glad Parkrun introduced this) and there are people who walk the whole thing in any event.

Good luck - you'll be fine. You may be doing the actual run on your own but we're all here with you every step of the way.

YOU are doing this for YOU!!!

Well done!

In fairness to all us wimmin, frankly the sports bra thing is enough to stop us getting anywhere, it's a mental and physical agility test ... but you passed that test with flying colours, onwards to R3

Well done for getting out there.

... and well done for getting into that sports bra, they're even worse to get off!

Good luck and happy running!
