Wow, well I can't quite believe it. It seems like no time ago I was panicking about running for 90 seconds. Here I am now on the eve of W9. How has this happened?
Having my daughter home from uni this last couple of weeks has really helped and the last couple of runs have been such fun. Records broken, new routes found and a generally good time all round.
The 5k target has already gone but not the running for 30 minutes and hope to crack that tomorrow. I am informed by my daughter that there is a park run every Saturday at Nowton park (Bury St Edmunds) and hope to make that my first this Saturday (subject to work commitments).
The support through this forum and the C25K app have proved truly incredible and if you are just starting out on this adventure all I can say is, stick to it, don't do any more or less than is suggested. Join in the chat on the forum, ask questions, read the posts, tell everyone what you are doing and how you are feeling, it really does help.
Well that's it for now, thanks guys, you are all truly amazing.

Hope your first park run goes well, it will be a great sense of achievement when you complete it, I'm hoping to do mine soon. I volunteer at my local park run and seeing people complete it is brilliant the buzz they get is great to see.
What a great post. I know what you mean about the support on these forums. As a lone runner I find the advice and support of all these virtual running buddies invaluable, as well as the encouragement given when sharing the lows and highs of a run. And reading about others' running exploits is great too.
All the best for your Week 9 runs, and for Park Run on Saturday. That shiny graduation badge will soon be yours.
Bloody well done old thing! Splendid news indeed. I'm a long time graduate and sing the praises of this program and this forum. You're so close and I take my hat off to you. Keep at it!
