Few things happened/went wrong this afternoon and when I went out this evening I wasn't feeling it and the first 1k was very slow and the 2nd wasn't much better but I was doing it.
Then somewhere along the next 1k I seemed to find my mojo and my feet where skimming along the ground and my head was feeling good and the issues of this afternoon were gone and even the last 1k which is usually a bit slower slipped by.
Ended up with splits of 6.48
Not many folk about tonight a couple of dog walkers and 2 other runners though I saw 2 roe deer and a hare whom I seemed to startle
Big run on Thursday as that's the day I graduate

thank you, once my mojo reappeared it just went by without thinking
6.48, you are not puffin at all, you are chuffin... Thursdays child has far to go as the verse says, not at that speeed though, you will be sprinting onto the podium. Brilliantly done
I wasn't even thinking about just running and as I was running the last stretch which is on a slight uphill gradient and is usually slow that I realised I was moving a bit but I was ok so I just kept it going
