Fun run done!!

Did the charity run this morning. Was the first organized event run I've ever done with other people. Normally I'm out on my own at 7am, but this was later too at 11am and much hotter, even though it was raining at first. Got a better time than I expected but wow it was hard! I've only run on pavement so far and this run was on winding hilly trails through park land. What a difference! I have even greater respect for the folks here that run on trails on a weekly basis 😀.

This feels like a milestone for me. Never in a million years did I think I'd be doing this if I was asked last year 😀. Thank you to all the many inspirational runners and the truly wise words of the seasoned veterans. I never could have managed this without you.
