I have decided to go through the last few weeks of C25K again to gently reintroduce my Achilles to running. Half way round Ascot racecourse I thought "That bloke looks familiar" so I nodded to him. He gave me an encouraging smile* and it wasn't till I'd gone past that I realised it was my one of my greatest heroes, Jonny Wilkinson, going for an evening stroll with his wife. Of course, it had to be one of the 3 minute walking segments so he never got to see me at my magnificent best
* It was probably pitying...

Wow how good is that? Pity you weren't in amazing running mode though. But that's the way it always goes, I saw Paul Weller on the tube once and was admiring his shoes of all things.... he just gave me a pitying smile, it was only afterwards I thought oh that was Paul Weller. Doh....
I love a good celebrity spot. That is a good one. He is a bit of a national hero. Don't get many down in rural Gloucestershire though-Maybe the odd horse!
Haha! I use to live in that area and there were lots of famous faces. I once said a cherry "hello" to a lady I thought was in my Pilates class only to realise immediately afterwards that it was Sarah, Duchess of York 😕
