Damp early Thursday

The A Level results came out today and I couldn't bear the tension of waiting to see how my son had done so I got up and went for a run. Just the impetus I needed to get me back into a third weekly run. Two miles, steady pace, back home to find out that the Boy got the grades he needs so will be off to Cardiff university in the autumn. Great start to the day. 🎓😀

I seem to have been trapped in the house by results day stuff, mostly other people's children this year (ours was last year) I had fond notions of getting out really early for me, ahead of results but didn't and...

Closest to home just an odd little result for my younger son which happens to come on the same day... and realised after a few hours that it was for a different subject than the one we thought he'd sat!

Congratulations to you and your son! I found running very therapeutic during exam season.

Oh, I remember those days so well... A level results came out on my daughter's birthday.. she went to Aberystywth !
