I had a lovely run yesterday, then set off for the Lakes with Mr Maztink. He was working, I was along for the day out. Anyway I got to thinking, I am the girl who took extra Maths at school to avoid PE. How come 50 years later I am running (slowly) 3 times a week? How come I didn't finding out how much fun it is sooner!!

As someone who was absolutely sh..e at school sports I think it's that now its serendipity. We are at the right time, our heads are at the right stage to do it and we don't have that thing about having to conform... I know I love my running although it's more a shuffle...
