Surprised myself😬

A Tad wet from the Rain but can't believe I managed to push past week 2 at last and Run W3R1 in the wind and rain 😊 All be it silently in my head screaming at Jo Whiley to talk to me n tell me to slow down n walk! First time I've run with the wind blowing directly at me it felt like it was willing me to give up...the gremlins were laughing their heads off at the wind fighting their corner.... is there a technic to running in the wind? I was tempted to turn round n go home but I dug in deep n carried on not sure if I could do that again!!!!!

But you didn't turn round and go home, you didn't give up you dug deep and carried on well done you, think this is one of the best/bravest posts.

Get in there, you are truly on the road to week 9, nothing can stop you!

Agree entirely anyone can run when the running gods are with you. Horizontal wind and rain tests the very best. But you became one of the best because you stuck at it. And maybe you should be giving us tips on wind running.... because so far it's not a problem I've encountered. You're 3 weeks behind me but my goodness so far ahead dealing with crappy weather. Kudos to you.

Weather was grim, techniques for wind and puddle-dodging (don't want to slip in a muddy puddle) would be appreciated! Super well done - you did it, because you can do it! Those gremlins will turn into cheerleaders in no time but it sounds like you've mastered ignoring them anyway :)

Awwww thank you all so much i have recovered now after a nice hot bath ... I only dug deep because I remembered reading all the post of help n supportive comments given to us all during our journey ... you was all with me battling that dam wind... I'll try heading in a different direction for W3R2 😬❤️
