I quietly swear when my music goes quiet & im ready to stop and he says you're halfway!!! 😩😩

snack_shack has a new metric for her runs. The WTF count. I am guessing it's not quite as quiet as you ...πŸ˜‰

The WTF count is also transferrable. You can use it in the following circumstances:-

When your hubby asks your opinion on something and then does the complete opposite (petulant child that he is!)

When the kids won't stop bickering over Lego (I am going to hunt down the inventor and pray he hasn't done C25K because when he runs I'll be going fast enough to catch him and give him a piece of my mind!)

When you look out the window and see it's raining AGAIN during the summer holidays (I know it's Britain but even so!)

Can you tell what sort of day I'm having..... The WTF count is not just for C25K, it's for life :)

Oh snack_shack i feel your pain. I like the idea of you hunting down a newbie runner couldn't you make him run on Lego barefoot....

I may do that to your Mr Smooth if he keeps annoying me!! See how he likes being told he's only halfway through a run when he's knackered!

I do get a bit miffed when I think he's giving me the final 60 seconds and he says - only 5 minutes to go. Or the rather wishful if you feel like it go for it in the last minute. Go for what, at that point I usually need a sofa or pizza. And it's 8 in the morning, who wants pizza then?

I'd have a pizza then. Or Chinese. I have fruit in the morning because I'm trying to be good but secretly I'm a closet junk food fanatic.

I completely agree with you about the notifications though. I felt like I'd been running forever this morning when he said I was only half way through. I actually found it more demotivational than motivational. I think I'd rather have silence for longer or just a "you're doing really well" every now and then than a half way time check.

If I was being really picky about Mr Smooth, and I do love him ...in the early weeks he spoke sweet nothings often. I think we are past honeymoon now and he's getting a bit spikey!

I didn't swear during my run today but when she asked whether I was ready to run my last run of the session I whispered "noooooo!"

Sure do especially when I think it will be the last one but it's not

I think maybe I am a bit reserved with my responses... I used to just shout at Laura... " You must be joking!!!"

Oh yes, all the time. But the day will come when she says "5 mins to go" and you will think "oh thank god only 5 mins!" 😊

Yup! I also swear when he says 'I hope you've got your breath back, because it's time for your next run.' No! No, I haven't got my breath back and if you make me run again I may well expire.

Sometimes swearing loudly and constantly is the only thing that keeps me going, when I'm out of earshot of others of course!
