So, turned 58 this summer and haven't run since school.... Did my first session today. Pleased that I did every bit of it. The podcast really helped. I'm expecting to pay for it tomorrow as I also haven't exercised in years (I'm talking decades....).

How was it? I haven't done any exercise in 18 months due to ill health finally three operations later I'm going to give this a go. Seriously how did you find this. I'm scared and nervous but excited for the challenge. Well done you x

Sorry, Darcy_whitehead - just realised that I hadn't replied to you. I got off to a good start but have had some difficulties with sore knees so I'm taking some rest days and will get back to it soon when I'm free of all soreness. I've also had my gait analysed and bought some decent shoes which I hope will help. Should have done that sooner. I'm determined to keep going, though. How are things going with you? I know you possibly faced extra challenges after ill health and your ops. Hope all is well.

The middle couple of minutes were particularly tough for me but the 90 secs of walking were just enough to get me through. I was surprised to find that I could even run for a minute. I thought it had been tough but okay but was then shattered when I got home and sat down suddenly pouring with sweat (sorry to be graphic). Going to keep it up, though.....

Hey we all do the sweaty thing, I didn't know it was physically possible to leave pools behind me. Oops tmi. Well done you on doing it
