Just completed week 5, run 1. During my lovely brisk warm up walk, a fly very rudely got stuck in my eye, and I was still battling with it as I was told to start running. It must have been very entertaining for anyone else who saw me. THEN, as I finished my 2nd 5 minute run, I inhaled a fly. Like straight into my lungs; Oops π
It's actually amazing how I could barely run for 60 seconds not even 5 weeks ago and now I can run more than I walk. I mean it's not easy but the programme is clearly working. I feel like now I'll be doing w5r2 it's getting serious!
Anyway,RIP to the 2 fallen flies π

They were not very considerate flies were they! Well done for battling on despite them! You are over halfway now! Nearly there. It's an amazing programme!
Ha the obstacles we don't get told about when we start the programme! Still as Oldfloss says the protein may have helped. Well done, you're doing great.
Well done you and quite literally there are no flies on you! Isn't the plan fab, I feel like carrying a placard as a running evangelist. Brilliantly done, hope next time out is without any insect incidents
