Well I had my gait analysed and bought some lovely new running shoes. 2 runs later my ankle pain has disappeared, but my thighs, hips and back really feel it!! Must be doing me good😃

Maybe you could try alternating your shoes,( I always rotate mine), to see if it is the new shoes causing the thigh, hip and back pain. It is always a good idea to progressively break in shoes, rather than throw old ones away and suddenly switch to a totally different form of support in new ones, even if they are the same model.

Thanks IT thats a really good idea. The pain is just niggly aches, just in a different place. I'm having an extra days rest to be sure and I feel a lot less achey tonight so I will head out tomorrow in the old shoes and see how I feel. These old bones creak a bit you know!!
