Lost mojo

Running 2 to 3 times each week have been reduced to 1 due to some longer than average work days. I feel totally out if any sort if exercise routine and when I ran last Saturday I just couldn't get into my run and completed 3k instead of my usual 5k. Motivation has left me and I want to get it back. But what to do ?

Stop beating yourself up about it, and just get out there regularly to run/walk. Listen to music whilst you run and remember when you started out on this journey - 3K at that point was perhaps an unobtainable dream, so be proud of yourself! The more you chase your mojo, the more elusive it can be on occasions, so cheat it and pretend you're not looking, and it'll be back to tap you on the shoulder soon enough.

Blinking mojos... they hide out with the Gremlins you know:)

Just run... be kind to yourself... you did 3K ...Yeay! Go you... Embrace that and move forward...getting back on track can be tricky..but you are on the way!

I had a run like that one day last week when I had an exhausting day at work. Was so determined to go out but had to stop after just over 3k and felt so deflated walking back home. Don't know why we're so hard on ourselves 😀. There's a lot of psychology involved in this new hobby 🏃
