Parkrun Buzz

Turned up at my local park this morning, and thought how lovely it was to see so many people out looking active and healthy, then a big smile spread across my face when I realised I was one of those people!

Still grinning like an idiot afterwards! I think I got a new pb and I chatted to lovely lady around most of the second lap, which made the time pass so quickly.

For anyone still unsure about trying Parkrun, I'd definitely say go for it!

Sounds a real buzz, I thought I'd see if they do these in Italy, but at 4 hours drive to Milan for the nearest I may have to create one...

I did my first park run today - it is weird to be one of the healthy (in my case 'ish') people. Just wondering how quickly they post the times.

It's usually within a couple of hours. I think it depends on how many people run and how quickly the tail walker gets back.

I've set myself a goal of doing the Hove Prom park run in two weeks (next week's is cancelled due to Brighton Pride). I should be on week 8 by then if everything goes well. Really looking forward to it, seems such a buzz.

You'll get there! I waited until I graduated, but loads of people do it sooner. Good luck with your c25k.
