Welcome to runners anonymous.... miss running, think about Lycra often and laugh at the sofa? These all are warning signs...
Yep you've definitely got it bad 🙂 No matter how tempting it is please don't run on rest days but there's loads of other stuff you can do to complement your running. Swimming, cycling, walking, weights, Pilates, yoga. Even heavy gardening and cleaning are using your body. Just keep moving!
Snap I really miss it on rest days 😐. I'm having to have a couple of extra this week as I have a slight injury to calf 😢. Fingers crossed 🤞 back on it on Thursday for W7R2 😉

However much you miss it.. don't be tempted, please The way to the IC is littered with folk who tried to go too far too soon
Lots to do, other exercise and as her Majesty Irish Princess says, don't dismiss stuff like a heavy day gardening or mammoth housework blitz!
If it would be a struggle to complete, that should give you the clue... we need to build up stamina and strength.. these running legs need careful handling to grow strong!
As for the bug... great isn't it?
It is great!! I'm really strict about rest days. I have slightly dodgy knees and don't want to go irreversible damage by overdoing it. Just taking it one step at a time and building on the strength and stamina.
There's always plenty to do on rare days off 😂
