You CAN do this 😀. Just take it slow and steady, listen to the instructions and that graduate badge will be yours. If you need to repeat any sessions, don't worry, many of us do/did. Good luck and keep posting to let us know how you are doing. We're here to cheer you on, congratulate you and, when necessary, give you a stern talking to if required.

Less of the negatives " I hope " and more of the positives " this old girl is Not gonna give up " this statement tells us that you mean business and will succeed.

That's it; decide on a schedule and a course/route that suits you. Taking 2 consecutive rest days between weeks worked well and most importantly have faith in this fantastic programme and enjoy your journey to success.

Hi, welcome and well done for getting started.

I totally agree with AnnieW55. Just remember this is just about you, it's not a competition or a race and if you follow the programme 'religiously' you'll get there.

I was a complete non runner for 59 years and I did it earlier this year so I know you'll succeed.

Go for it.

Good luck and happy running!

Great stuff! What I love most about this forum is that we are all different ages and different abilities and yet we can all relate to each other as we've all been at week one, run one. Keep letting us know of your progress.

You absolutely can, well done for getting run 1 done. For me that was the hardest one! You've got this 😀

Snack shack is absolutely spot on, different ages, abilities, attitudes and sometimes altitudes - we are all here. There's something really uplifting about reading how fellow runners are progressing. Well done you, keep that motivation going

You never know what you can do until you try. I'm 16 months post graduation, having never been a runner, and now half way through B2 10K! Slow and steady, set backs and victories. I began week 1 of C2 5K unable to run for 30 seconds without wheezing. Now I can run for 45 minutes. Keep going!

Thanks find that hard to imagine as was very glad only had to run for 1 minute!! 🤣

Hi. Well done for starting. I'm 51, 3 stone overweight and never run in my life and I'm now on week 8. When I started, just running for 1 minute was so hard and yesterday I ran for 28 minutes without stopping. If I can do this you can - this programme is brilliant. Keep going and good luck.
