It's truly inspirational to see someone like you who struggled to complete the first run, coming away running 30 minutes! I must say I had my doubts after the first couple of runs (though my particular problem was my trousers nearly falling down!) and wondered how, if it was such an effort to run 60 seconds, how on earth I was going to run 30 minutes, but the programme really works, doesn't it? Weather permitting, my graduation run will be tomorrow morning.
I expect it will be emotional for you doing the Colour Run in memory of your mum, but what a day that will be - finally achieving what you've done all this training for! Best of luck on the day.
Congratulations!! Just want to say that I started running to get over losing my Mum in January & since graduating am running 100km May-Oct for Alzheimer's Research so I know how emotional graduation can be! Good luck for the 5km run, it is a great thing to do, your Mum would be very proud of you. X
