Week 3 fear π: Hi all I have completed the... - Couch to 5K
Week 3 fear π

Hey you know it doesn't seem to matter which week and which time progression we all feel the same, but it's quite surprising how the programme ramps up without you really knowing that you're getting better. My first 3 minutes run just made me feel so good (actually it was hard) but the sense of achievement - I actually felt like a proper runner. So I think the fear is perfectly natural, but somehow it works its way out.
You will do it because you've been set up to do it, and you'll feel dead chuffed about it and so you should. I can remember thinking - now I could run after a bus... Not for long, but long enough to make me look like a runner....
All the best for Week 3
Thank you I wasn't sure whether to repeat week 2 or just to go ahead and try it will give it a go I think πππxx
Try it and if it feels too hard, scale it back. we don't do failure here, only practice runs. Seriously i was gobsmacked when I did the 3 minutes... Will be thinking of you for next time

Well I did it and lived to tell the tale first 3 minute one was difficult as we ended going up a hill but 2nd one was bearable so pleased with myself thanks for your kind words xx
See told you, you're fine. Btw everyone says running up hills early on is a killer, so that makes it an even bigger achievement. Well done you
