Hi all, I am based in Clackmannan and decided to sign up to the site and get started on Couch 2 5k.

Hoping to run this along with cycling to get the weight off, get fitter and healthier.

Looking forward to getting started and having a blether.

Thanks for the replies. I am looking at where to do the run thinking the cycle track that goes to Dunfermline as one of them. Not really sure where else is suitable as don't really want to be wasting time at junctions etc

Best of luck! It'll certainly get you fitter... I've gone from pains in my legs walking to the station to running for 35 mins with 5 mins of brisk walking either side and if I can the you sure can :)

I did run 1 around West End Park, which was mostly on grass. For run 2 I did a circuit, starting down Clackmannan Road, on to Whins Road then down the bypass. Much preferred running on pavement today. Not so great having more of an audience (passing cars etc) but it was nice to have changing scenery and a flat surface. Might get round to posting for myself later but enjoy whichever route you choose!
