Week 4 Run 1

Well after many years on the couch I finally decided to go for it and run. I've signed up for the men's health 10k in Edinburgh in November.

Week 1&2 I had sore legs, week 3 I thought was relatively easy as I finally worked out how to pace myself.

Today though was a big step up, I managed it but I knew I'd worked for it. I'll keep plodding on.

I really miss the run on the rest days, long may this last.

Good for you. The couch is overrated int it 🙂

Going slowly is great for this programme and will help prevent injury and niggles. The rest day is when your running legs are built so always treat it as sacrosanct. You can do. some cross training though. Walk, cycle, swim, anything you like to do 🙂

Racing is such fun! It's a blast 😃
