W6R2...I was really looking forward to doing this run as I was well up for the 25 min run coming up next but after the first couple of minutes of the second half my legs really began to ache . I tried to run through it walked for a few seconds but I just turned the podcast off, thinking of trying again tomorrow but feel really gutted and unmotivated

I'd try the day after tomorrow, to give your legs some time to recover. You are asking them to do a lot of work that they are probably not used to. The run you did today will have strengthened them even though you won't be feeling this right now they have and you will benefit from a day off.

This happens to all of us at some point and you will find when you try it again it will be so much better.

I wouldn't get disheartened, I did this run today and really struggled. Although I got through it (just) it is a tough run for some reason.

No harm in stopping to have a breather. Better that than packing it in

Many a walk saved a run πŸ˜ƒ

Don't worry about it! Just crack on πŸ™‚

You have decided to try again already. That's absolutely fantastic. As miss wobble said. If your body can't be dealing with a run, crack it into a walk and enjoy the fact that you can move and are much closer to your 5k than to your couch. Stay strong and don't judge yourself too harshly. I look forward to seeing the run updateπŸ€žπŸ‘πŸΎ
