Feeling a little disappointed and demotivated. After the elation of w5r3 last Thursday I set out on my parkrun Saturday where I was to incorporate w6r1 but halfway through my husband pulled his hamstring so I stopped mid programme. I did complete the rest of it but after I knew he was OK but I'd had a rest between runs. Been out today to repeat it but my app stopped through the first run so just decided to keep going. I ran for 18 mins then stopped as I got chased by 2 dogs arrgh.... Can't seem to get back on it correctly. Feel like all the motivation I had last week is fading. Question is I'm going out again Thursday so shall I start at w6r1 again. It feels like everything is conspiring against me in this week. Those who say w6 is a tough one weren't wrong.

Don't beat yourself up, i would draw a line in the sand on W6 R1 and move on to W6 R2, take it slow, ditch the husband, refocus, relax and try and enjoy the last run/walk day.
you have come this far, and with those 2 practice runs under your belt you can smash your next run.
good luck.
p.s try not to upset anymore dogs
Haha thank-you. The husband is ditched for now on the IC.. I'll move on to r2 Thursday and hopefully avoid the ankle snappers this time. I completely forgot it's the last run with walk intervals. Just need to get my mojo back... and stop beating myself up but I swear even the trees were laughing at me today 😂 thanks
