I completed this run yesterday! Blisters on my heels stopped me running for a week, then the first time I did this one, cramp in my calves forced me to stop. I looked on here for advice and as a result did a 10 minute warm up walk instead of 5 and got through the run! I am so pleased with myself -I am even enjoying the runs!

Very well done...just keep it slow and steady and land lightly :)

Are your shoes right? Socks? Get those right or you'll be uncomfortable on runs. I use good old Vaseline on my heels and on my Achilles, toe ends etc

I am very slow to warm up so do as you did and extend it. I warm up indoors first too with a little routine which is welcome in winter as it means I get good and warm before leaving the house

Keep going nice and slowly 😃
