After run disappointment

I always feel disappointed after a run knowing I have to wait so long until my next one! Rest days are borrrrinngg!!

Ha ha, I know how you fell. I have just spent 17 days on the IC, and ran for the first time yesterday. It was such a release.

I am going to try alternative things to do on my 'rest' days, such as swimming, yoga, cycling, karate or resistance training - running not great for upper body strength - to see what other things I can do to keep me moving.

This is what I try to do too. I do kettlebell on 2 of my rest days but nothing brings me as much satisfaction as a run. Glad to hear you're off the IC 👍🏻

Thanks. I guess I am looking for a program similar to the C25K for another discipline. I like the structure to follow.

I'm also looking into how to continue my running post C25K with another program to follow on.

I think I will be the same once I have graduated. I love the structure and the feeling of accomplishment after the runs 👌🏼

Loads of excellent kettlebell programmes out there if that is your bag. Check Pavel Tsatsouline. he is the master of the KB. Or why not try one of the more popular HIIT series like Insanity or P90x?

Failing that, there's always Crossfit... lol
