Week 8 on holiday with Julie

Week 8 on holiday with Julie

I've actually run on holiday this week! Not only is graduation from the programme pretty much in sight (in my first or second post I said "I can hardly imagine reaching week 2 let alone week 9" - just look at me now!) but I can't believe that I actually took my running gear on holiday with me (plus Julie of course), went out late to avoid the 30 degree heat and ran on precarious narrow roads, needing to adapt my routes and do some shuttle runs when I ran out of street lights. I've surprised myself at my own dedication (need?) to complete the programme.

Fingers crossed I'll be joining the graduates in a week or ten days ish depending on whether I take one or two rest days between runs. Best of all the route along the bay in Montenegro was absolutely spectacular. So lucky that I now have another way to enjoy the places I visit on holiday!

  • Yay, it's in sight AND you're doing the whole outside thing. Enjoy the home stretch.

  • Doing run 3 of W8 tomorrow and I have just realised who Julie is after all those comments doooh😊

  • Good for you. Running on holiday is one of life's greatest pleasures. But where's the picture?!!!

  • Can't see a picture ☹️

  • There it is! Montenegrin wifi a little hit and miss no doubt!

  • Thank you! That looks gorgeous. I've not been there but if there are good running routes ........

  • Sign of a real runner is packing your running shoes first! It is one of the real pleasures of running to explore places in a different way.

    Sadly can't see your photo.
