Joined Strava, noticed nice circular route not far from home. Didn't look close enough to find out it was the hills of hell!
Ran it but thought I was actually going to die. 10 min run at the end up that last hill arggghh. Run speed at the end was simply not rolling backwards down the hill I think rather than forward but got home some how.
At Butlins Minehead for the rest of the week. I believe it is flat there ❤️
Well done - we don't have many really big hills where I am, but I definitely notice the inclines. The trick I've tried is to be uphill going out, and downhill on the way home.
I was on my totally flat treadmill til last week, found the first outside route I tried a but too hilly and was looking for something a bit easier! 🙄 won't be trying that one again for a while. The down hill was so steep I had to lean back and brace. My poor knees hated up and down. Might have to move to Holland
